Welcome to the Wapsie Valley Schools' PBIS Warrior Way home page. The Warrior Way is a program dedicated to clearly identifying the kinds of positive behavior that we expect from our students, reinforcing that behavior, and establishing a common language among staff, students, and community members to describe that behavior. There are five key components to the Warrior Way: Be kind, be respectful, be responsible, be safe, and always do your best.
Staff members have participated in training, led by teacher leadership teams in our district, to learn about Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) and the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program. Components of each program have helped us to shape our "Be Statements."
These expectations are demonstrated, exhibited, and reinforced with all students and staff in grades K-12 at Wapsie Valley Schools.
